Project Description
Dandenong Stadium – Repair Leaky Roof
The stadium in Dandenong on Stud Road had serious leaking roof issues over the show court area and during summer the internal temperature could be very high. User safety and comfort was compromised on hot days and wet days and as the WNBL South Side Flyers use the facility, training could be disrupted during these events. Important revenue streams could also be disrupted when usability was affected.
In order to remedy the situation Cocoon applied a roof waterproofing, heat reflective, cool roof membrane to fix the leaking roof. An important part of this project saw Cocoon return to site to address issues on other parts of the leaking roof that were causing water ingress in the show court area. The result was a stop to all leaks and a milder internal temperature on hot days.
